SEPAM/Energy 2 Transition are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work as part of a Renewable Energy Project based team in Ireland.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to add to our growing Engineering team and become the driving force behind our Renewable Energy projects.
You'll be part of the design team for a range of multi-disciplinary Transmission & Distribution projects.
You can expect variety and travel, visiting client sites to independently discuss, define and verify client requirements and reflecting the output in high quality proposals and reports.
Responsibilities: As an Electrical Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems operating within low to medium voltage ranges.Support the construction phase by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance on-site.Overall responsibility for the production of electrical engineering on projects assigned to you.Conduct feasibility studies for grid connection options on renewable energy projects.Develop electrical schematics, perform load calculations, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Design and analyze power systems, focusing on renewable energy sources, particularly solar energy.Collaborate with project teams to deliver power distribution solutions, conduct testing and troubleshooting, and provide technical support for installation and commissioning.Attend utility provider and client owner's engineer meetings as required.Strong knowledge of electrical codes, protective devices, and power quality analysis is essential.
Experience with CAD software and power simulation tools is highly desirable.Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in electrical/power engineering, with a focus on renewable energy or solar projects.In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, particularly solar power systems and their components.This candidate must be free to work in Ireland with no Visa restrictions.
