We have exciting opportunities for Electrical Foreman to join Suir Engineering.
Suir Engineering with offices in Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, and Germany.
We deliver leading edge next generation solutions to clients by designing, building, and installing Data Centres, Pharma and Medical Device plants and HV energy and renewables systems.   We have an opportunity for an Electrical Foreman to join a Pharmaceutical Project in West Dublin.
Responsible for managing teams onsite, integrating with other Suir site supervision.
Must be able to work/collaborate well within a team environment.
  Monitor, measure, and record day to day performance.
Ensure quality of installation adheres to the plan and achieves the desired profit.
Ensure the desired Manager receives copies of all documents/drawings, catalogues and handbooks relating to the project.
Ensure the standard specifications for all jobs are continuously followed.
Assist Supervision in the development of the Project Programme.
Ensure daily allocation sheets are completed and submitted.
Complete and submit weekly progress reports.
Work to the Project Programme and monitor and record productivity/efficiency (SE).
Ensure any temporary facilities required are provided.
Organise site establishments.
Order stock/material in a timely manner in line with the company Materials Group Report.
Maintain stock control on site.
Plan works for all operatives under your control.
Assign packages of work to Charge-Hands in accordance with the project plan.
Attend site meetings as necessary.
Control and manage the return of tools ensuring they are maintained in good order.
Ensure that work standards and site rules are adhered to, and that the Company's Disciplinary Procedures are always followed.
Review the performance of all staff under your control, keep accurate logs of all performance.
Maintain the correct manning levels within your team.
Control the site attendance and timekeeping and keep up to date records.
Monitor everyday labour relations and report to the responsible Manager.
Identify delays to the PM/QS/Supervisor/Client via the relevant Progress Change Notice.
Identify improvements which can be made.
Record all extra work and advise Quantity Surveyor of same via the appropriate method (day-work sheet, SL's emails, etc).
Liaise with the Planning Department on hours spent per activity.
Obtain client approval for all additional work prior to executing.
Liaise with the Client Representative and always represent the company standards/ethos.
Always maintain Client expectations.
Maintain standards of safety and ensure all team members comply with Company's Health, Safety & Environment procedures.
Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirement.
Attend all Toolbox Talks and Weekly Progress Meetings.
Ensure any team disciplinary issues are dealt with.
Liaise with the HR department on any team-based personnel issues.
Any other adhoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Electrical Trade qualification essential.
Degree in a Construction Discipline/QS, desirable but not essential.
Minimum 10 Years' experience in a Construction environment.
General knowledge of project controls/tendering/planning.
