Main Purpose of Role: Due to continued expansion, Murphy are looking to recruit an Electrical HV/MV Project Manager to work in our Power Division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for project delivery through initial work winning phase, through design, construction, commissioning and handover leading the Murphy Team along with managing other stakeholders such as Clients and Eirgrid & ESBN.
Projects will be HV/MV and will include:
Design & Construction of new Substations and grid connections for renewable energy generation assets such as Wind Farms and Solar FarmsDesign & Construction of upgrades to existing substations and other assets on the national gridDesign & Construction of new Substations and grid connections for Data Centre projectsDesign & Construction of Overhead Power LinesDesign & Construction of Underground Power CablesQualifications & Skills: Degree qualified Electrical Engineer (preferably Chartered with Engineers Ireland)Minimum of 5 years' experience working for a Tier 1 Electrical Contractor in Ireland as a HV/MV Project Manager or Senior Electrical Engineer looking to move up to Project ManagerDemonstrable experience of managing HV/MV projects including:Design management within Eirgrid/ESBN parametersProcurement of major equipmentPlanning, programming & resourcingCommercial & Contract managementQA/QC & Commissioning of projectsWhat Murphy Ireland Offer In Return: Competitive salary and benefitsDiscretionary annual bonus and annual salary reviewAbove market rate contributory pension scheme available from day one27 days annual leave per annum.
