The Eplan Designer is responsible for designing and drafting electrical schematics, detailed electrical wiring diagrams, device legends, termination and cable schedules, control and protection panel layouts, front and internal views using Eplan software. This role requires a detailed understanding of electrical systems and strong technical skills to create accurate and efficient designs.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using Eplan software.Collaborate with project engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.Create and maintain detailed documentation for all designs.Conduct design reviews and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.Assist in the development and improvement of design processes and standards.Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably using Eplan software.
Experience in designing electrical systems for industrial automation, control panels, or similar applications.
Skills: Proficiency in Eplan Electric P8 and other relevant Eplan software.Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC, NEC, and other relevant electrical codes.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Eplan Certification (preferred but not required).Additional Requirements: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
