Overall Purpose of the JobWork within a multi-skilled team. Maintain a good relationship and liaise with the client's representative on day-to-day issues. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance including troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systems and equipment to a good standard and within defined timescales. Ensure that procedures and standards meet or exceed the client's expectations.
Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesPPM on all electrical equipment: Managing SubcontractorsEmergency lightingData & Telecoms equipmentMotive powerGeneral lightingThermal Imaging (preference but not essential)Fixed electrical testingPAT testingWater & booster pumpsHVAC equipment i.e., pumps, chillers, A/C split units, etc. (electrical only)Generator maintenanceUPS maintenanceInstallation & Projects Small to medium size electrical project installsReactive calloutsOut of hours supportBasic mechanical knowledge (preference not essential)Person SpecificationExcellent customer service skillsMust be a team playerGood communication skills both verbal & writtenExperience in using MS OfficeAbility to multi-taskWell presented with good interpersonal skillsMethodical, analytical, and enthusiastic approach to workAttention to detailGood problem-solving and troubleshooting abilityGood initiative and pro-active approach to workMust be extremely flexibleStrong decision-making & problem-solving skillsGood time management and organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsSome travel required to the client siteQualifications and ExperienceRelevant Junior and Senior Trades and/or City & Guilds are essentialExperience working in the regulatory environment (preference not essential)Minimum 3 years experienceClean driving licenseWorking PatternMonday to Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm.
