My client is a dynamic and innovative technology company producing market disruptive technology to enable the widespread deployment of Autonomous Vehicles. Their team designs & develops software, hardware, optics, and illumination systems, and they are looking for engineers who want to work in a practical hands-on environment.
They are expanding rapidly across Europe and the USA and require an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to build, set up, and test our products.
The Job Working with a small dynamic team of engineers, the Electro-Mechanical Engineering role is varied between building and testing products, and in some cases product installation and commissioning. Developing product build and test documentation and continuous improvement of product, along with parts purchasing, are additional requirements. The successful candidate will be given in-depth training of the company's technology and products.
Skills and Experience Ideally qualified to at least diploma level in a mechanical, electronics, or electrical discipline. Ideally 2+ years' experience either as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer/Technician or similar technical role. Experience with building complex and precision equipment and aptitude for debugging including hardware, electronics, optics, cameras, and illumination. Ability to develop appropriate tests for new products or product enhancements, and to perform such tests and provide feedback to developers. Experience with analyzing data & creating reports based upon results and validating corrections to conclusions. Good communication skills required to ensure accurate description of issues to R&D and accurate responses to customers. Proficient with MS Office Suite. Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland/EU.
Permanent role in Dublin South. Salary negotiable, dependent on candidate experience. Bonus included.
