We are now looking to expand our existing design team, based in Cork, Ireland, with exciting opportunities for experienced high-calibre Design Engineers.
Primary Responsibilities Take responsibility and ownership for the full IC design lifecycle from concept through product release.Simulate and design integrated circuits based on available device models, parameters, and design rules.Assist in New Product Introduction.Perform prototype and pre-production testing of RF & Microwave components.Work within a multi-disciplined project team.Interface with customers and product marketing to help define product specifications.Education and Skills Requirements Cadence and ADS/AWR expertise.Skilled understanding of RF concepts.Design and layout of RF/Microwave ICs (SOI preferred).Experience in some of the following areas is desirable: RF/Microwave Switch, Amplifier, Attenuator, Phase Shifter, Filter.Experience with EM simulation and RC extraction tools.Good planning and organisational skills.Deadline and detail oriented.Good interpersonal and communications skills.Ability to work well in a global team environment.Some experience as a team-lead with desire for future management role.Degree in Electronic Engineering plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
