Employee Relations Advisor

Our client is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their HR Team on a 12 month contract basis. As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will shape and maintain positive employee relations across the company. Key responsibilities include managing grievances, investigations, disciplinaries, and ensuring compliance. Your experience in stakeholder engagement is essential for this role. Responsibilities: Case Management: Handle cases from start to finish, including investigations, hearings, and disciplinary processes. Produce clear reports and coordinate communications. Governance and Policy: Develop and implement policies to ensure legal compliance and best practices. Monitor performance indicators and update policies as needed. Development: Identify skill gaps and work with the Learning and Development Manager to create training programs for effective employee relations management. Key Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Leadership team and Workplace Relations Commission. General HR Duties: Support HR-related matters, manage TUPE processes, and assist in recruitment needs. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. CIPD or equivalent qualification is desirable. Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role with a proven track record in employee relations. Strategic thinking and execution in a dynamic environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Experience in restructuring, redundancies, TUPE transfers, and policy changes. In-depth knowledge of employment laws and practices.
