Job Title: Employment Solicitor Location: Dublin, Ireland Company Overview: We are delighted to announce our partnership with a key client in the legal sector in Dublin.
They are looking to add a skilled Employment Solicitor to their dynamic team.
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in employment law and a passion for providing high-quality legal services.
You will work alongside experienced professionals, advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
Additionally, members of our Employment Team are encouraged to engage in marketing and business development activities, with ongoing knowledge and professional development being actively supported.
Key Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of employment law issues, including but not limited to: Grievance and disciplinary matters Workplace disputes Drafting contracts of employment, policies, and procedures Re-organisations, transfers of employment, and redundancies Represent clients in contentious employment law matters before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court, and Civil Courts.
Support colleagues from related practice areas, contributing to collaborative solutions on intertwined employment matters.
Engage in business development initiatives and contribute to the marketing of the Employment Department.
Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain current knowledge of employment law.
Skills & Expertise: Minimum of 4+ years PQE in an Employment Team.
Strong technical knowledge of employment law and its application.
Proactive thinker and effective problem solver.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Interpersonal skills to effectively advise clients and collaborate with colleagues.
