Environmental scientist with 8+ years experience required to join one of the most renowned Engineering Consultancies in Ireland.
Our client is one of the leading providers of Water & Wastewater engineering services both in Ireland and internationally.
The successful Environmental scientist will be responsible for the planning and design of a range of Water & Wastewater services projects.

Sample Projects €200m Multiple Main Drainage Schemes across Ireland €150m Multiple Wastewater Treatment Projects €150m Multiple Water Supply Schemes Role: Lead and manage multidisciplinary environmental inputs for environmental impact assessment projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and architects, to integrate environmental considerations into project designs.
Prepare and review environmental reports, including Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs), Environmental Impact Assessment Screening Reports, Construction Environmental Management Plans, Resource Waste Management Plans and the technical review of specialist reports.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and agencies as necessary for project development.
Represent the company at client meetings, public consultations, and regulatory hearings, Requirements: A level 8/9 degree in environmental science or related discipline The successful environmental scientist should have a minimum of 8+ years relevant experience.
Strong expertise in environmental impact assessments and planning Strong knowledge of relevant Irish and European planning and environmental legislation, guidelines and regulatory frameworks The successful environmental scientist should have proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
Professional certifications or memberships in relevant professional bodies (e.g., IEMA, CIWEM) are advantageous.
Benefits: €60k-€65k+ DOE Annual leave 22 days, increment of one extra day per every 5 years worked up to a maximum of 25 days.
