Equipment Technician

Responsibilities: Assist in Tool repair both planned and unplannedAssist in Root cause troubleshooting and fault finding to component level.Assist in ongoing tool development and enhancement.The freedom and support to drive improvement projects both alone and as part of team.Work with coach / mentor in hands-on practical investigation and resolution on hardwareInvolvement in presentations on completed work / learnings and recommendationsAbility to work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools & test equipment.Strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting issues and solutions.Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multi-task.Be capable of working with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
To be considered you will need the following: Building towards bachelor's degrees (NFQ Level 7) or Honours Bachelor'sdegrees (NFQ Level 8).
Level 6 Technical qualification with Relevant experience.Capable of demonstrating analytical troubleshooting methods (Root Cause Analysis,Problem Solving, 5-why), and First Time Right repair skills.Able to follow preventative maintenance and Standard Work proceduresExperience with either of the following tools sets with be hugely beneficial: o Applied Material Implanters & Deposition Platforms o Akrion Wet benches o Aviza Furnaces o TEL Tracks o Nikon Steppers o LAM Etchers o Novellus Deposition Platforms o Semitool Wet Chemistry Platforms
