Evening Shift Production Manager

Evening Shift Production Manager required for a growing company based in Arklow, Wicklow.
Responsibilities: Ensuring the manufacture of products to the highest standards in the safest, most efficient manner.
Fully utilising and harnessing the Production and Maintenance Teams capability through effective leadership, processes that are consistently applied and accurately measured against the business objectives.
Day to day management of production operatives on the shift rotation Identifying and implementing process improvements in conjunction with key stakeholders Ensuring strict adherence to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Ensuring consistent adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures.
Maintaining and driving quality standards in process, people, and product.
Capacity planning for existing and future products Reporting and communicating effectively with the senior management team on an ongoing basis.
Assisting with the development of Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications/Experience and Competencies Required: Experience in a production role in a Food processing environment a distinct advantage Food/ Science or Process/Engineering/Production Management qualification or equivalent a distinct advantage.
Key Skills/Attributes Required: Experience in a production role in a food processing environment including previous experience as a team leader/shift manager or equivalent with proven leadership skills.
Possesses excellent analytical and problem solving skills, thriving in a fast paced environment.
The ability to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of all activities.
IT and report writing skills High standards of systems compliance.
Personal Attributes: Strong ability to work in a team, whilst being able to lead, work on own initiatives and delegate to other functions.
Clear communication to all levels including to Leadership team.
