The School of Engineering wishes to appoint an Executive Officer who will initially be based in the Discipline of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering.
The role-holder will be part of a team of professional staff which provides comprehensive support for all Discipline activities including supporting the undergraduate programme, timetabling, internship placements, casual payroll, procurement and management of the website and social media.
The role-holder is the first point of contact for staff and students in the Discipline and is responsible for providing a professional, efficient and welcoming service to all students, staff and visitors to the Discipline.
The successful candidate will liaise with the academic, technical and professional staff of the Discipline, School Office staff and relevant College Offices.
Post Status: Permanent Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: Appointment will be made on the Executive Officer Salary Scale (€31,691 - €49,699 per annum) and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines."
