The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with electrical testing and a strong background in electrical characterisation techniques, circuit design, and fault isolation.
This role requires an individual who is organised, an extraordinary problem solver, and enjoys working in a highly motivated lab environment.ResponsibilitiesConduct electrical testing, utilising techniques such as lock-in thermography (LIT) or time-domain reflectometry (TDR).Employ a wide variety of electrical characterisation techniques.Design circuits and isolate faults effectively.Implement fundamental failure analysis methodologies to derive root causes.Convey complex data sets from multiple sources into a concise and understandable form.Essential SkillsHands-on experience with electrical testing, including LIT or TDR.Familiarity with a wide variety of electrical characterisation techniques.Understanding of circuit design and fault isolation.Expertise in fundamental failure analysis methodology.Ability to convey complex data sets into a concise and understandable form.3+ years of experience in electrical engineering or failure analysis., , or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering).Additional Skills & QualificationsLab experience.Scientific degree.Flexible and able to quickly change course to meet the needs of the business.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Willing to collaborate closely across the organisation.Why Work Here?Our client offers state-of-the-art facilities and a world-class culture.
