Overview: The Technical Lead will run and own the maintenance program, focusing on continuous improvement using industry standards and proven methods.This role involves working closely with the Facilities Manager on strategic planning to deliver outstanding service to customers.
The Technical Lead will supervise and improve performance through data-driven decision-making, demonstrating scientific data, metrics, and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: * Safety Leadership: Cultivate a safety-first mentality, encouraging the team to adopt and continuously improve upon the best safety practices, always learning from past experiences.

* Technical Leadership: Provide proactive technical guidance and mentorship, helping the team achieve their goals and improve on key metrics and performance metrics to support overall business success.
* Team Development: Promote a culture of learning and growth by providing coaching, on-the-job training (OTJ), workshops, and classroom training.
Encourage team members to seek new challenges and opportunities for skill development.
* Training & Competency: Continuously assess and develop training plans that empower team members to expand their competencies, ensuring they are equipped to perform at their best in an ever-evolving environment.
* Work Prioritization: Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to ensure that high-priority tasks are addressed promptly and that the team's workload is aligned with both immediate and long-term goals.
* Maintenance Strategy Execution: Partner with Facilities Engineering system owners to review and refine maintenance strategies, adopting new technologies and approaches to continuously enhance operational effectiveness.
* Project Collaboration: Actively give to Facilities Engineering projects, using creativity and innovation to solve recurring issues, improve processes, and implement continuous improvements across engineering practices.
* Record Management: Ensure that maintenance records are not only accurate and up-to-date but also easily accessible, fostering a culture of visibility and continuous improvement.
* Maximo Utilization: Leverage Maximo as the central system for all maintenance records, continuously refining processes and workflows to optimize data accuracy and efficiency.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal departments, working together to solve facility and utilities maintenance challenges, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve multi-functional teamwork.
Education: * Crucial: Degree-level qualification in Engineering or Science.
* Desirable: * 5 years of shown experience.
* Experience in key roles in GMP or Medical Device facilities.
* Supervisory experience.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge: Essential: * Strong understanding of CMMS systems (Maximo experience is an advantage).
* Deep knowledge of various maintenance strategies and the tactical approaches needed for successful implementation.
* Familiarity with metrics and success indicators associated with Facilities Maintenance.
Desirable: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong internal customer focus and relationship-building abilities.
* Effective influencing skills to drive outcomes.
* Strong project management capabilities.
