Job Title: Workspace Technician / Maintenance Worker  Location: Dublin, Ireland Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00AM – 5:00PM) Salary: €40,000 per annum About Us: The Workspace Technician role incorporates several Facilities Management tasks also and is a great gateway into Pareto FM & the Facilities Sector.

We are looking for a Workspace Technician who can help us keep this energy alive, while ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Main Function: The Workspace team support the Workspace Manager at the Dublin office.
The role will be responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing work environment.
This role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to maintenance, repairs, and improvements within the workspace.
You will be the go-to person for maintaining optimizing the office environment.
What You Will Be Doing: Facility Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the workspace to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems as needed.
Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
Handyman Services: Assemble, install, and repair furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Handle minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
Troubleshoot and fix general maintenance issues to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
Safety and Security: Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and incidents promptly.
Collaborate with the facilities team to address any safety concerns.
Workspace Improvement: Assist in planning and executing workspace layout changes and improvements.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely completion of work.
Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a handyman or workspace technician.
Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Basic Trade and painting skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
