Fideuram is among the key private banking players in Italy. It is looking for qualified profiles who want to be involved in a stimulating and challenging career opportunity in Fideuram Asset Management (Ireland) dac (FAMI).
FAMI, established in 2001, is a UCITS management company belonging to Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, owned by Intesa Sanpaolo Group. FAMI currently manages approximately €42 billion worth of assets with over 160 sub funds and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Reporting to the Head of Global Equity & Quant Solutions, the resource will actively contribute to steer, improve and monitor the investment process common to all the strategies managed by the desk. The resource will cover a senior role, contributing to organize the desk's roadmap in terms of development and improvement of existing processes. Experience with managing coding projects is desirable as the desk has developed a proprietary software library to support the investment process. The resource is expected to conduct equity and quant research independently and support junior team members.
The resource will also coordinate the daily activities of several portfolio managers, ensuring the quality and robustness of their analysis at both single stock and portfolio levels. Acting in coordination with the Head of Desk, the resource will contribute to deciding the active positioning of the investment portfolios managed by the team.
Required ExperienceRequired Qualifications, Skills and KnowledgeMSc or PhD in economics or related fields (e.g., Finance)Familiarity with discretionary and systematic portfolio management strategiesProven experience as an equity portfolio manager, preferably with a global or USA focusProficiency in the Python programming languageExcellent background in economics (microeconomics, asset pricing, corporate finance), econometrics, and equity valuationFamiliarity with the SQL paradigm and API programmingCapacity to conduct research independently (both equity research and quantitative/academic research)Ability to manage coding projectsProficient in English written and oral (knowledge of Italian constitutes a plus)Everyone is an asset for our Group and that person could be you!
