We are currently seeking highly-motivated Support Workers to join our team in Mayo with openings in the following areas in home support: Ballina Area - 15 hours per week Ballinrobe Area - 15 hours per week Salary Scale: €32,639 to €39,499 pro rata per annum (€16 - €19.47 per hour) based on experience Overview of the Post: To provide home support to children with ASD, physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities: The Family Support Worker will also provide support to children with ASD, physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities in the home and local community, assistance with home therapy programs; personal care assistance; social support and facilitate the achievement of the individual's goals.
The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: Appropriate QQI Level 5 Major award in childcare qualification or equivalent Excellent communication skills Desirable Criteria: Experience working with children in the disability sector Experience working with families in the community Experience working with adults with physical disabilities If you believe you would fit the role then please submit your application today.
