Job Description Occupli are delighted to exclusively partner with leading supplier of Process Equipment & Engineering Solutions into the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Biotechnology Industries in Ireland & UK.
We are recruiting two permanent Field Service Engineers  Based in Cork & reporting to the Operations Manager this position is responsible for the inspection, repair, and assembly of Process Control equipment sold or serviced.
Duties of the role include: In-house service assembly/overhaul/test of product portfolio sold with focus on valve related items.
Mixture of work both in workshop and on customer sites including overnight stays.
Trouble shooting and repair of customer products and providing accurate repair reports.
Operation of company related equipment such as Forklifts, Tools & Testing equipment.
Responsibility for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements.
Upkeep / maintenance of workshop – Equipment & Asset.
Quality, and Health & Safety procedures.
Requirements Self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative and also as part of a team.
High level of knowledge/expertise of mechanical & electronic process control equipment.
Technical problem solving & trouble shooting ability.
Flexible and innovative approach to work.
Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
The ability to work with people at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
The ability to write detailed reports such as site visits, repair reports.
Role does require travel in Ireland & overnight stays on occasion.
Mechanical engineering academic &/or trade qualification.
Electrical/Electronic engineering experience &/or qualification would also be advantageous.
Related industry work experience in repair.
Visa requirements: Stamp 4, Stamp 1G Spouse or EU.
