Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician – Electrical/Controls Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician with expertise in electrical controls and automation to join our After Sales & Service team.
This role involves developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing control programs for custom automation systems.
The ideal candidate is skilled in programming PLCs, servo drives, robots, and specialized controllers, with the ability to work independently and in teams on-site with clients.
Key Responsibilities: * Develop and program control systems (PLC/PC-based) to meet customer needs.
* Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on customer equipment.
* Perform equipment adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.
* Collaborate with clients to align project goals and provide ongoing support.
* Lead on-site teams and coordinate with vendors to resolve technical issues.
* Create detailed service reports and maintain effective communication with clients.
* Travel domestically and internationally for on-site support (50-75% per month).
Qualifications: * Degree or diploma in electrical engineering or related field.
* 4+ years of experience in automation/controls, with 3+ years in PLC programming (Allen Bradley/Siemens).
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot systems.
