The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, able to work on own initiative and support the finance team comprised of two direct reports.
ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for monthly close and reportingManagement of large portfolio of accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers; Credit Control and Accounts payable payments form a large part of the role.General ledger control, with multiple accounts to reconcileProcessing weekly payroll, and filing bi-monthly VAT returnsManagement of audit and liaising with external auditorsLiaising with large sales team to ensure needs of business are supportedAd hoc projects as requiredPerform additional duties as requiredRequirementsStrong organisational and management abilitiesDemonstrate good attention to detailAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communications skills are crucial.Strong analytical skillsAbility to own responsibilities and develop processesHigh proficiency with Microsoft applications; Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge a necessityAn accountancy qualificationAt least 5 years people management experienceDue to the urgency of this vacancy, it is not possible for our client at this time to consider anyone without the appropriate work permits, visas or sponsorships already in place.
