We are looking for a Finance Manager - Operations Business Partner to join our finance team that has 3+ years' experience in accounts.
What You Will Do Overall responsibility to ensure operational controls are met across all Manufacturing and non-Manufacturing sites.Product/Process costing – ensuring that costs reflect the true cost of manufacture and reporting on any variances.Ensuring all costs are recovered in the products and that all variances identified and understood.Product/Process yield analysis & control.
Support Manufacturing process improvement, overhead improvement, and capture/report benefits.Provision of weekly detail and Top Level KPI reports for the factory – working with operations to improve performance.Stock management and reporting including stock reconciliations and control of stock write-offs.Operational and Financial cost control.Continuous Process/System Improvement – Identifying areas of cost saving and improved efficiencies.Capital control – evaluate proposals, monitor/control spend.Budget cost preparation.Proposing and Evaluating cost saving / profit enhancing initiatives.Involved in the completion of monthly management accounts and reporting to the Group team.Play an active part in the year end audit and completion of the Statutory accounts.Provide cross functional support across the rest of the Finance Team.Improve any process weaknesses and be a driver of change.Ad hoc projects/ reporting for the Financial Controller.What You Will Have Excellent attention to detail and ability to check accuracy of own work.Ability to prioritise time correctly and provide clear direction to team members.Experience using an integrated ERP system, IFS experience desirable.Strong computer skills, especially Advanced Excel.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Exercise good judgement and make decisions.Qualification Required: Qualified accountant, CIMA/ ACCA /CPA/ACA.3-5 years' experience within a manufacturing/operations accounting field is essential.Who You are… Results Driven with a collaborative style and positive attitude.Treats colleagues and customers with respect and is always honest in all interactions.Demonstrate agility by being flexible and open to change.Ability to clearly explain work being performed to stakeholders.Contribute to overall team performance, including support and assistance to other team members.Focused individual with ability to drive personal, team and business growth and maximise opportunities.How We Look After You… At Valeo Foods Ireland we look after our employees with an impressive total rewards package on top of your basic salary.
