Working with the offshore team in Pune and also representing TCM and OTC in dealings with the business in Vodafone Ireland.You will work as a key member of the Finance Operations Service Management and Operations team, guiding the Offshore team, and supporting them during their daily and monthly activities.You will provide financial influence to various stakeholders in Finance and across the business in areas interacting with TCM and OTC.Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities: TCM Control and ReportingOversees the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of monthly TCM reporting, ensuring alignment with the month-end calendar, including P&L and balance sheet accountsWorking to ensure that TCM and OTC are aligned with Vodafone Group accounting policies.Taking responsibility for the processes, controls, and general ledger structure that support TCM and OTC information in the financial statements.Providing support to the VOIS Offshore team in their day to day activities including gathering reports and assisting with their upload to the Bank reconciliation tool at month-endPerforming the Credit Card reconciliation using the automated tool and reviewing bank reconciliations for other payment methods prepared by the Offshore teamWorking to ensure that open items on bank reconciliations and OTC ledgers are addressed effectively, while seeking business support when neededTransformation and Process ImprovementHelping to ensure that changes in Vodafone's business are well-supported by the TCM team, with requirements communicated to IT projects when system changes are neededCollaborating with the VOIS offshore team to facilitate the transfer of reconciliation activities for the Credit Card reconciliation and support for the reconciliation toolCollaborate with MIS, the business, and Offshore teams to continuously improve TCM reporting processes.Business PartneringCollaborate closely with Finance, IT, and other Business teams to ensure that TCM and OTC are effectively represented, and that any changes are thoughtfully reviewed and carefully considered.Collaborate with the OTC team to ensure their ledgers and Bad Debt provisions are clearly understood and accepted by the business.Act as the primary point of contact for TCM, coordinating with Banks and other teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment.Work closely with the Fin Hub team to ensure that changes are accurately managed in the automated reconciliation tool.Provide support to Credit Management and the outsourced collections team in managing unallocated cash effectively.We Are Looking For You, If You Have:EssentialQualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 2+ years of PQEHighly analyticalPresentation skills for audience to understand trendsAttention to detail, with accuracy and a strong problem solving mentalityTeam player who Delivers results (goal oriented)Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skillsCapable of understanding issues from both operational and strategic perspectives, and guiding stakeholders to take appropriate actionAbility to work independently and collaboratively, building strong relationships across Finance and the businessDecision-making based on analysis from various sourcesDesirableExperience in TCM / OTCExperience in the telecommunications or technology industryCommercial focus and understandingAbility to understand and meet customer or stakeholder requirementsWorking knowledge of SAP is advantageousWho we are:Vodafone is pioneering Ireland's gigabit society.We are Ireland's leading total communications provider offering products and services make a real impact in the lives and communities of our customers.
