Reporting to the Finance Director, responsible for managing and maximising the benefits of payroll systems and financial processes across the business.
Excellent working conditions with 1-2 days required in the office per week.
Role Responsibilities: Responsibility for finance systems and processes to ensure effective and efficient processing of financial and non-financial data.Ensure existing system and process controls are functioning effectively.Supporting the payroll team in the management and processing of payroll system.Identify areas for improvement and implement process efficiencies and additional controls to address any potential risks.Manage system upgrades & provide training and systems support to all finance users.Act as the finance lead to implement effective interfaces from HR database and to finance ledger.Review and maintain all financial systems policies and procedures.Lead payroll team meetings to ensure all payroll data is processed and completed by relevant deadlines.Review and approval of payroll reconciliations for monthly & weekly payrolls.Act as the point of contact with external payroll provider & ensure any issues are resolved.Role will be the main point of contact for all audit queries.Supervision of payroll team members.Any other reasonable duties as required by the Finance Director.Candidate Requirements: Recognised professional accountancy qualificationMinimum 5 years experience in a financial environment with relevant experience in a finance systems role.Strong working knowledge of Payroll, HR & Financial systemsWorking knowledge and familiarity with ROSExcellent advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.Successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrate a proven ability to work to tight deadlines & the ability to work without close supervision.Attractive benefits & remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate.
