OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a temporary Financial Accountant position within the A&R (Accounting & Reporting) team. The successful candidate will support A&R Managers and Senior A&R Managers in ensuring the timely and accurate financial accounting and management reporting of Tirlán with key responsibility for the reporting of period end, year end, and all planning processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccurate and timely preparation and submission of monthly and year-end financial and management accounts and reporting packs to Group and Senior ManagementProvide analysis and supporting information to assist management teams in understanding business performance and drive value-added decision makingProduction of balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of relevant controlsAssist the A&R manager in supporting the business on ad hoc operational and commercial reporting requirementsPro-actively identify opportunities to enhance and improve controls, systems, and processes in line with evolving business needsLiaise with both internal and external auditors, and input into schedules for statutory reporting and tax compliance as requiredOwnership & control of SAP data uploads in relation to Budget/Forecast in supporting the planning processAdvocate for adherence to the Group Policy manual and procedures and keep informed of updates to ensure ongoing compliance of ledgers under their controlRequirementsProfessional Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)Trained in a multinational organisation or medium to large practice preferableCan interpret complex financial and commercial issues and clearly communicate proposals to stakeholdersAdvanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointIdeally experience of ERP systems, SAP & Data Warehousing platforms (or similar) and report design would be an advantage but not essentialA strong collaborator who can challenge and influence colleagues at all levelsExcellent communication skills, verbal and written, including report writingA self-starter, with a high degree of analytical rigour with the ability to think commercially and strategically while working with detailA strong team player with a growth mindsetWe OfferFree parking incl.
