This role is a senior position within the commercial and finance team responsible for the end-to-end financial, commercial, and strategic delivery of Irish Brand Homes, reporting directly to the commercial finance manager.

Top 4 Accountabilities: Management Accounts/Annual Budget Preparation: Lead the completion of the monthly Management Accounts for all GSH entities. Direct the Financial Analyst and finance administrator to ensure accurate reporting. Lead variance analysis on monthly financials. Prepare and review monthly risks and opportunities on financials. Prepare and present business performance to senior partners. Prepare balance sheet reporting and complete reconciliations. Liaise with senior Corporate partners on financial queries. Support preparation of the annual phased budget. Cost Control: Be responsible for cost control and productivity agenda. Deliver all costs on plan and ensure appropriate controls are in place. Lead CAPEX processes and budgets (ranging from 5-20 million EUR). Monitor and strengthen internal accounting control processes. Handle the rollout of new systems or processes from Diageo Corporate. Commercial Support: Support the Commercial Finance Manager on projects. Lead/support on commercial initiatives as necessary. Assist with Procurement/Tendering process. Support GSH retail financials reporting to parent company Diageo PLC. Assist teams with measurement and evaluation papers as required. Compliance: Lead the annual year-end Statutory Audit. Lead the annual internal audit process. Liaise with Diageo Tax department. Monitor and strengthen internal accounting control processes. Champion and advise on internal policies. Maintain complex front-end systems for accurate financial representation. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met in front-end systems. Qualifications and Experience Required: Qualified accountant with 2+ years PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Highly numerate with strong analytical skills. Credible at FD, MD, and Leadership Team level. Demonstrate a strong background in financial control, governance, and compliance. Strong understanding of month-end processes. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong systems skills, knowledge of SAP accounting is an advantage. We embrace learning and growth, and anticipate there is scope to develop in this role.
