Principle HR is a recruitment services provider. We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst – with a background supporting Contingent Workers across the UK and Ireland to join our Dublin-based team. This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong contingent support skills to manage critical financial processes and compliance for contingent employees, ensuring the smooth running of payroll, background checks, financial audits and the on and off boarding of contractors.
Role Overview:
As a Financial Analyst for Contingent Workers, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for employees in Ireland and the UK. You will also run weekly payroll for over 200 employees, ensuring compliance with employment regulations and handling all financial aspects, including auditing and tax returns. The role also requires managing systems like Beeline, Vndly, WAND, Hireright, Bullhorn, and Tas Books.
Key Responsibilities: Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, ensuring compliance with final pay regulations and return of company equipment for both Ireland and the UK. Weekly Payroll: Run and manage weekly payroll for over 200 employees across the UK and Ireland using Tas Books. Ensure all payments are processed accurately and on time. Background Checks & Compliance: Manage all background checks, including criminal checks, embargoes, sanctions, and verification of employment and education references, ensuring full compliance with legal and client requirements. Financial Auditing & Billing: Validate and perform audit checks on systems to ensure accurate pricing, billing, and reporting. Client Account Analysis: Conduct performance analysis and generate reports on the activity of each client account and internal teams, providing insights to improve operational efficiency. SWOT Analysis: Run SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis to support strategic decision-making and optimize the performance of the team and client accounts. Banking Operations: Manage and execute bulk transfer of payments on a weekly basis using Banking 365, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. Tax Management: Prepare and complete tax returns for Ireland and the UK, ensuring full compliance with revenue authorities and maintaining accurate financial records. Manage & Monitoring SSP (Statutory Sick Pay): For The UK and Ireland under the government regulations. Key Skills & Experience: 5 years + experience as a Financial Analyst Contingent Worker support: Experience supporting contingent workers in the UK and Ireland and advising them on annual leave, pay, pension, expenses entitlements. Financial Expertise: Proven experience in running payroll, financial auditing, and compliance management, particularly for contingent workers in Ireland and the UK. Payroll Systems: Proficiency in using Bright-Pay and Tas Books to manage payroll for large numbers of employees (200+) UK&I. Compliance: Strong understanding of employment compliance, including criminal checks, sanctions, and reference checks in both Ireland and the UK. Software Skills: Experience using systems such as Beeline, Vndly, WAND, TS Portal, Bullhorn, Bright-Pay, HireRight, ScoutLogic and Banking 365 for financial management and payroll processes. Analysis & Reporting: Ability to perform in-depth analysis, including client performance reports, SWOT analysis, and financial audits. Tax Knowledge: Familiarity with preparing and filing tax returns for both Ireland and the UK. Tech Savvy: Expertise in MS Office suite. 3rd level degree in Accounting /Finance or a relevant discipline. How to Apply:
