Financial Controller Our clients, based in Dublin 24, are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their team. The role has 4 direct reports and reports to the Head of Finance. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

The Role: Monitor, support, and assist in the delivery of annual Company and departmental KPI's. Deliver monthly management and annual statutory accounts on a timely basis – normally within 3 weeks of month/year end, including full analysis of all variances versus Budget and prior year. Produce timely and accurate financial management information as required to support the business, ensuring efficient delivery using IT and staff resources. Plan, manage, and deliver the annual Budget and Forecast process. Maintain the integrity of the accounting system (Microsoft Business Central) and monitor revenue and costs on an ongoing basis to ensure they come in on target. Conduct financial oversight of spend, managing actual, forecast, and budget, involving interaction with Operations personnel and customers. Lead, manage, and develop the Finance team (4). Treasury management to ensure maximum cash collections and interest earnings. Maintain strong financial controls around cash management, payments, bank reconciliations, tight debtor management, and invoicing. Ensure tax compliance in respect of VAT and Corporation tax. Liaise, in conjunction with the Head of Finance, with the Audit & Risk Committee. The Person: A third-level business degree is desirable but not essential. Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a fast-moving medium-sized commercial, service-driven, Irish business environment. Strong communication, team management, and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving skills and the ability to use technical skills to deliver commercial business results. Excellent written and presentation skills. Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office, MS Dynamics CRM, Power BI, and Microsoft Business Central. Strong analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills to understand and interrogate financial data and deliver effective advice and recommendations. Strong people management and development skills. Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to deliver solutions and results.
