Location: Dublin or Belfast, as part of our hybrid working model. Contract type: Perm We are currently seeking to hire a Manager or Associate Director for a permanent role in our Financial Modelling Centre of Excellence, within our KPMG Corporate Finance business. The role will be based in Belfast or Dublin.
Our Financial Modelling Centre of Excellence is a dedicated team of leading financial modellers, which helps clients in the delivery of high-quality financial models. In addition to delivering financial models for budgeting and planning purposes, our team supports on many of the transactions undertaken by KPMG Corporate Finance, providing staff with a wide exposure to a range of different projects and transactions and the opportunity to work in an exciting 'deals' environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel financial modelling skills.Hands-on experience building complex financial models in a project or transaction-based environment.Outstanding tertiary qualifications, ideally in a STEM or Finance subject.Relevant professional experience of building financial models on a day-to-day basis (e.g. in the corporate finance division of a chartered accounting firm, corporate finance boutique, investment bank, private equity fund or within an FP&A role in industry).Strong interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills, combined with high attention to detail.Ability to juggle competing demands and work in a dynamic environment.Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect: Working alongside Partners and Directors and taking responsibility to deliver best practice financial models for a range of clients and engagements, including M&A, debt & equity capital raisings, re-financings, project finance, public sector procurements and option appraisals, as well as operational models for budgeting, reporting or business planning purposes.Managing and coaching Senior Associates and Associates.Playing a key role in leading the development of the financial modelling capability in KPMG Corporate Finance, in particular providing training and mentoring for our junior staff and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture of work.Managing the financial modelling element of client engagements, from proposal stage to model design, development, and the analysis and presentation of results.Leading the reviews of financial models supporting some of the largest and highest profile transactions in Ireland.Supporting the team in future recruitment and business development efforts.Your team: KPMG offers Ireland's largest dedicated corporate finance practice with a team of over 150 professionals based in Dublin and Belfast.
