Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Systems Estimator Location: Dublin Salary: Competitive, based on experience Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Systems Estimator to join a growing team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating project costs and managing the tendering process to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
This role requires a strong understanding of the fire protection industry and excellent organisational skills.
Main Responsibilities: Manage the full tender process from start to finish.
Carry out detailed assessments of project specifications and plans to determine the scope and requirements for fire sprinkler systems.
Complete take-offs from tender drawings and prepare cost estimates.
Source and evaluate sub-contractor quotes, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Attend meetings, both internal and client-facing, as required.
Undertake cost analysis, risk management and value engineering.
Produce accurate, analytical cost estimates in a structured format.
Represent the organisation in pre- and post-tender interviews.
Maintain organised records of estimates, bids, and relevant communications to support project tracking and reporting.
Key Qualifications and Skills: A degree or diploma in Estimating or Quantity Surveying.
At least 3 years of experience, preferably within the fire protection industry.
Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, ISEN 12845, FM, etc.).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
Excellent planning, organisational and time-management skills.
Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
A full, clean driving licence.
