Job DescriptionYou will support the overall Food & Beverage operation of the hotel to maximize guest satisfaction, team member performance and business results. Your key duties and responsibilities are to promote and ensure guest satisfaction, maintain a safe and sanitary work environment and ensure only the highest quality products are being served, achieved through developing and maintaining a strong team environment, delivery of prompt, courteous service in accordance with brand and Food & Beverage standards. Further, you will handle daily team member relations and encourage problem solving by team members through proper training and empowerment.
QualificationsPrevious experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operationPassion for leadership and teamworkEye for detail to achieve operational excellenceAdditional ResponsibilitiesEnsure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets and that the highest standards of luxury and quality are delivered consistently to our guests.Carry out departmental audits to ensure LHQA is achieved by all team members.Communicate the Hotel's Vision & Mission statement to the team.Maintain cleanliness and organization in areas of responsibility.Control the ambience in departments (lights, music and temperature).Report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate departments.Implement new initiatives within the agreed time frame.Set and achieve personal objectives on a yearly basis.Attend meetings as required.Ensure management presence in all departments at all times.Maintain a consistently high level of security throughout the Hotel.Act on guest feedback in a timely manner and ensure necessary actions are taken to prevent reoccurrences.Monitor purchasing and costs in the department to ensure alignment with budgets and purchasing procedures.Achieve departmental sales in line with the hotel budget.Accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests and maintain flexibility within teams.Provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel.Comply with the hotel's cash handling procedures and ensure all team members are trained accordingly.Drive business results through revenue growth and cost savings efficiency.What do we have to offer you Premium rates for Sunday workRefer a Friend program - €500 bonus for a referral of your friend or acquaintance for a vacancy in The Marker or another hotel of NH Hotel GroupExcellent Room Employee Rates in over 350 NH properties worldwideAccess to the NH eLearning platformIncreased holiday entitlement for long service employeesMeals whilst on duty in our employee restaurantEmployee Recognition AwardsEmployee Assistance Program - mental health and wellbeing supportComplimentary provision and laundry of uniforms
