This position is fully onsite, located in Clean Cut Meals, Galway.
This role is responsible for providing Food Safety & Quality support in the areas of Production, Storage, and Transport, including supplier, manufacturing, and product management. The main duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
Implementation and Management of Food Safety Management Systems in accordance with current legislation and prescribed standards.Lead internal HACCP team and manage standards through the internal auditing programme.Co-ordinate with Regulatory Authorities (HSE, FSAI) for legal compliance, including regulatory, third-party, and customer audits and inspections.Management of supplier and product approval protocols.Ensure alignment of the Management Team with FS&Q objectives.Definition and Management of finished product quality.Conduct audits of FSMS compliance and resolve issues with the team.Ensure Food Safety training requirements are up to date, managing the review of food safety training materials to meet standard requirements.Satisfactory resolution of FSQ operational issues and Consumer Complaints.Ensuring site hygiene and pest control standards are maintained.Reporting on FSQ performance against targets.The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: Science/Food Science Qualification (Essential).Minimum 3-5 years of technical Quality management experience.HACCP/Food Safety Management systems knowledge.Experience in implementing and managing QMS.Flexibility, quick learner, problem solver, good communication, and good organisational skills.Full Driver's License and access to own car is required.Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.This role is a fully onsite position.Musgrave is an equal opportunities employer.
