Food Service Assistant

As a Food service assistant with our team here in Parkmore Galway, you will be helping us deliver our catering services to those working for a large multinational medical device company.
This position will be very rewarding for the right candidate, helping deliver restaurant services in a positive and engaging environment.
Our interactions contribute hugely to the experience of those using our restaurants, and we aim to improve each customer's day through our interactions.
Full-time Position (07:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday) (39 hours per week) What we are offering you: Weekdays only €12.70 per hour Full training provided Uniform/shoes provided and staff meals provided during shifts Free parking Advancement opportunities available for employees who would like to build a career with us What we are looking for from you: To work with our front-of-house team supporting the tills and deli counter A good learner with attention to detail Willingness to embrace and apply our high food service standards A friendly personality, good people skills and a can-do attitude Self-motivated and able to use own initiative as/when required Team player with the ability to work towards a common goal Compliance with our Company's health and safety policies and practices Occasional overtime may be offered depending on site needs You must have: Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced catering business is preferred A Strong background in hospitality or catering Excellent time management skills Knowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCP, is preferred A problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitude Be living in Ireland and available to work in the East side of Galway city .
