Fp&A Accountant

We are working on an exciting opportunity with a leading company in the Kildare area.
Due to progression within the team, they are now inviting a qualified accounting professional to join their finance team as an FP&A Accountant.
This is a broad accounting position and the ideal next step for a financial accountant looking to progress.
The opportunity will allow exposure to financial reporting, management reporting, analysis, and projects with plenty of progression opportunities.
ABOUT THE ROLE:Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Management reporting on assigned projects;Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for assigned projects;Challenge budgets vs actuals with relevant stakeholders;Assist in month-end processes, monitoring overhead costs;Identify opportunities from improvements and efficiencies in current processes;Ad-hoc projects as they arise.ABOUT THE PERSON:Qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or equivalent);Must have 1-3 years PQE, with industry experience;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;Self-starter and ability to prioritize deadlines;Strong technical ability and good attention to detail;Office based in Kildare, with hybrid working in place.
