FRS Recruitment are now inviting applications for the role of 'Business Development Executive - Solar Sales' in the South Tipperary/North Cork region.
This role comes on behalf of our Client who, as Ireland's largest Farming Organisation, are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to drive the adoption of solar energy solutions among farmers in the southern half of Ireland.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable energy practices, contributing to the reduction of carbon footprints, and enhancing the profitability of farms.
Position: Business Development Executive - Solar Sales Location: North Cork / South Tipperary Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Basic Salary: Approx.
€40,000 DOE Commission: Opportunity to earn up to €40,000 based on performance Key Responsibilities: * Sales Development: Identify and engage with potential farm clients to promote rooftop solar solutions, tailoring presentations to meet their specific needs and concerns.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and trust.
* Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the agricultural sector.
* Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain an organised pipeline of leads and sales opportunities, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of progress.
* Education & Training: Provide informal educational resources and training to farmers on the benefits of solar energy and the installation process.
* Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards, as well as industry best practices.
Qualifications: * Degree in Agricultural Science, Renewable Energy, or related field.
* Previous experience in agricultural sales, solar sales, or energy solutions is highly desirable.
Skills: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner * Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite * Strong negotiation and closing skills * Full Driving licence required.
