Logistics / Transport Coordinator Birr, Co. Offaly - **must have own transport no public transport available** Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: Our client, a leading provider of transport logistics services in Ireland, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Rath, Birr, Co. Offaly.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of a busy transport office.

Key Responsibilities: Load Scheduling: Plan and coordinate deliveries using a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers placing orders, ensuring clarity and excellent service.
Driver Coordination: Provide clear instructions to drivers, supporting them to meet delivery targets and resolve any challenges.
Route Planning: Use your knowledge of Ireland's geography to optimise routes and minimise delivery times.
Order Management: Accurately process and manage customer orders using company systems.
Problem-Solving: Tackle logistics challenges proactively to maintain seamless operations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow and continuity in operations.
Compliance: Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Key Requirements: Strong knowledge of Ireland's road network and geography.
Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, drivers, and team members.
Proficiency in using computer software (transport management system experience is a plus, but training will be provided).
Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays on a rota basis.
Previous experience in logistics, transport coordination, or a related role is advantageous but not essential.
