For more information visit We have a number of vacancies for General Operatives (Casual work) in the soup manufacturing facility, Tirln Thomas St, in Kilkenny City.
Role Profile Due to the seasonality of our Product & Business, the vacancies on offer are casual contracts of employment where the hours of work will be determined by mutual agreement.
The Company will inform employees of the hours which are available as early as possible each week.
The demand for labour will be dictated by the demand for volume.
The time period for the vacancies is from August 2024 to February 2025 and we will operate a 3-shift rota during this period.
Depending on skill level achieved employees will work a minimum 3 days per week until mid February.
Key Responsibilities Comply with food safety standards to ensure CCP are completed and adhered to in each work location.
Conform with Health and Safety rules and regulations.
Ensure good plant hygiene standards are maintained in the area you are working.
Documentation control where applicable.
Keep pace with production flow and contribute consistently to the team output.
Key Requirements: The ability to work as part of a team.
Good inter-personal and communication skills.
Experience working in a factory or food environment will be advantageous.
Manual Handling and forklift certification desirable.
