Job Title: Aircraft Leasing VP Technical (startup platform) Location: Dublin, Ireland Salary: Flexible - dependent on experience Employment Type: Full-time We have been retained by a financial institution which is setting up a new aviation investment business and has a requirement for a VP Technical.
This is a critical role that will oversee all aspects of aircraft risk management from initial inspection and valuation, through the life cycle and particularly managing aircraft re-delivery / onward sale or part-out.
Responsibilities: Review and negotiate technical terms for aircraft transactions.
Oversee inspections, maintenance, and due diligence for fleet management.
Manage projects involving aircraft delivery, transition, and storage.
Support investment analysis and maintenance rate adjustments.
Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, MROs, and regulators.
Requirements: Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or FAA/EASA certification with at least 7+ years in aircraft transition management, ideally from a lessor.
Expertise in maintenance programs, technical records, and lease documentation.
Proficiency in project management and stakeholder coordination.
