Gl Accountant

Barden have been engaged exclusively by our client, a leader in their sector, to identify an experienced accountant to join their finance team as a GL Accountant.
This is the ideal opportunity for an ambitious accountant in a finance hub environment looking for the next step to progress their career.
ABOUT THE ROLE:Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Production of monthly management accounts;Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts;Completing monthly profit & loss and balance sheet variance analysis;Oversee operational finance including AP, AR, and payroll;Assist with the budgeting and forecasting processes;Ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations;Assist with the year-end statutory audit;Proactive in identifying areas for process improvements;Supporting with ad hoc projects as required.ABOUT THE PERSON:ACA/ACCA qualified accounting professional;Experience in the preparation of statutory accounts;Excellent communication and collaboration skills;Ability to assertively solve problems and standardise processes;Advanced proficiency in IT skills, particularly Excel;Strong attention to detail;Hybrid working 1-2 days per week in their South Dublin office.
