Position Overview: We are seeking a Global S&OP Planning Director to optimise inventory and efficiency across our client's global supply chain. This role will involve leading global S&OP planning processes across six regional hubs, driving demand and inventory planning improvements, and collaborating with various functions to ensure effective inventory management.
Key Responsibilities: Lead global S&OP planning processes across six regional hubs.Analyse, recommend, and implement changes to demand and inventory planning parameters based on commercial strategy, target stock holding, and service levels.Identify, prioritise, and manage process and IT improvement opportunities related to inventory planning systems in collaboration with regional Inventory Managers and IT.Lead global demand planning improvements and optimisation programs across commercial, financial, supply chain, and technology functions.Collaborate with the technology function to optimise the ERP platform throughout the global supply chain.Lead a global inventory and demand planning team within the global supply chain.Experience and Qualifications: Degree or Masters in a relevant field.Over 10 years of experience leading a global demand planning function within a high-volume manufacturing organisation.FMCG sector experience is a distinct advantage.Proven experience in ERP implementation or optimisation at a global or regional level.Excellent skills in inventory optimisation and people management.The Next Step for you: Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV to Sarah Mac Mullan from Next Generation Recruitment or alternatively call on the main line on 00 353 1 6498546.
