About the Role: The Goods-Out Warehouse Operator is responsible for managing the outbound flow of goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining effective communication with suppliers and internal teams.
This role involves a variety of tasks including inventory management, dispatching shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities: Inventory Management, ordering inventory and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Keeping the kanban system up to date.
Conduct stock cycle counting and re-checks.
Issue goods to EPS departments.
Sort and return warranties to suppliers.
Dispatch parcels, pallets, and groupage shipments.
Load and unload lorries, trailers, and containers.
Scan delivery documents into the ERP system.
Build and maintain good communication with suppliers.
Sort supplier account queries and liaise with the accounts team.
Advise fitters and engineers when goods are ready for collection.
Use ERP systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, email, scanners, and label printers.
Participate in supplier product training and internal training sessions.
Support ongoing warehouse improvement projects, including LEAN initiatives.
Prepare and participate in the end-of-year stock take.
Skills & Qualifications: Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of inventory management practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
