Job Description The Governance Coordinator will coordinate the day-to-day governance activities across the entire suite of Dublin Airport capex projects.
Reporting to the Head of Governance, the Governance Coordinator will play a key role in implementing the governance standards for the consistent monitoring, control, reporting and assuring the controls activities within the Programmes.  Act as a key representative of the Governance – implementing continuous governance improvements across all programmes.  Maintain the governance processes and supporting documentation / tools  Set the standards for Governance in alignment with the Corporate Governance Policy and requirements of the Portfolio Board  Maintain regular communications with active team and business stakeholders to ensure necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve difficulties, which may impede progress or compromise achievement of project's governance objectives  Responsible for communication of the status of deliverables to stakeholders at an appropriate and effective level and frequency  Contribute to the forward planning of programme and project decisions, the level of approval required and the tracking of progress towards these  Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings and distribute minutes to all stakeholders  Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings  Implement quality assurance on all governance outputs and papers, through robust review and approval cycles  File and document control of governance submission documents.
Responsible for maintaining the 'single source of truth' for governance documentation  Administer the Change Control process  In line with the Head of Governance; develop, embed, maintain and continuously improve governance processes throughout the Infrastructure Department's Portfolio that allow strategic items and matters to flow through the governance system smoothly and successfully  Drive best practice in governance process across the Infrastructure Department's Portfolio  Performs other related duties as assigned by Head of Governance and Director of Infrastructure  5+ years relevant experience as part of a Governance Function – Desirable  Extensive knowledge of assuring governance in capital projects and programmes  Knowledge of governance best practice, relevant issues, and new upcoming trends in the industry  Degree in relevant discipline, ideally either management or technical  Professional qualification in Project and Programme management, such as MAPM, MSP or equivalent would be beneficial  Experienced at implementing 'best-in class' governance and reporting across large infrastructure projects  Demonstrable experience in contributing to the delivery of projects or programmes.  Good knowledge of and experience in PMOs and Programme Support functions (Schedule, risk, cost, change, information management)  Able to report progress (written and verbal) and answer questions accordingly and produce monthly reports  Strong data management skills (trackers, look-aheads, etc)  Maintain good communications with stakeholders, keeping them regularly appraised of the progress of their projects/programme  Excellent at networking and building trust and rapport  Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to determine requirements and expectations and manage their influence on the project/programme  Qualifications Excellent communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills required to assist in implementing 'best-in- class' governance processes across the full suite of Capex Programmes  Adaptability – in particular, to manage and deliver change and governance in the context of an evolving and changing organisation, addressing the ambiguity and conflicting demands that may result  Ability to cultivate solutions for challenging deliverables  Fully competent in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies  Proven attention to detail and extremely well organised  Excellent standards of delivery  Effective stakeholder management and ability to work well with others at all levels  Work effectively both independently and as part of a team  Ability to work on tight deadlines  Additional Information What we offer you: Full time, permanent Competitive remuneration and attractive range of benefits Pension 23 days Annual leave,2 Company days & 1 volunteering day  Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projects Career development opportunities both in Ireland and globally Opportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleagues Our people share our Purpose and Values.
