Gpc Finance | Audit & Accounts Executive

My Client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit and Accounts nearly qualified accountant to join their dynamic team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the firm's growth.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, conduct, and manage audits for a portfolio of clients across various industries.
Perform risk assessments and develop audit strategies.
Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management and clients.
Ensure all audit work is in compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with Irish GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
Assist clients with the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
Provide advice on accounting and financial reporting issues.
Conduct financial analysis and interpret data to provide insights to clients.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for audit and accounting queries.
Assist in the onboarding of new clients and the development of engagement letters.
Stay up-to-date with changes in auditing and accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Advise clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal controls.
Participate in training programs to enhance technical and professional skills.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ACA, ACCA, CPA, (working towards certification or newly qualified).
3+ years of experience in audit and/or accounting, within practice Understanding of Irish GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in audit software and accounting systems (e.g., CaseWare, Sage, QuickBooks).
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
