At LauraLynn Ireland's only Children's Hospice, we are providing an opportunity for 2 newly registered children's nurses to enter into a new and exciting two-year graduate nurse programme commencing Autumn 2024.
This is a paid programme where the successful nurses will be placed onto the HSE salary scales (Staff Nurse/Enhanced Staff Nurse grade).
Year one includes a 12-month Preceptorship Programme with a bespoke orientation over a 2-week period, followed by hospice and community inductions, and a four-week supernumerary period in LauraLynn House.
The second year of the Graduate Programme is focused around building advanced knowledge and skills and is overseen by the senior nursing team.
  During year two you will spend time with the CNS team (1 week) before joining the Dublin Hospice Community Nursing Team where you will provide care and support to children and families in their home or hospital.
  On successfully completing the two-year programme you will be provided with the opportunity to join our in-house nursing team at LauraLynn House or the LauraLynn Community Nurse team and work out of Dublin, Mallow or Ballinasloe.

        Have an interest in Children's palliative nursing care, in providing holistic care to Children and their families.
