Your new role This is a newly created Group Treasury Controller role to join an established treasury team.
You will work closely with the VP of Finance in Europe (group HQ).
The treasury team overseas the entire group and parent company activities and acts as the internal bank and funder for the group.
An overview of your new role includes: Prepare financial statements and notes for public annual reports Develop and implement the group's treasury strategy Oversee all aspects of risk management including interest rates and FX exposures Full oversight and responsibility of monthly, quarterly and year end close from a treasury perspective, including CBI reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance to optimize treasury processes Ensure ongoing systems efficiency and lead transformation process improvement projects What you'll need to succeed You will be a seasoned Treasury Controller, with an accounting background and have had full responsibility for treasury controllership Ideally you will be a fully qualified accountant, but qualified by experience both in treasury and accounting will be considered You will need solid knowledge and exposure to hedge accounting You must have previous experience preparing financial statements and notes for public annual reports People management experience is a must You will need to be prepared to travel to HQ in Europe occasionally What you'll get in return You will be rewarded with a salary of up to €160,000 along with a full benefits package including bonus, pension and health.
Flexible hybrid working will apply with 3 days a week in the city centre office and 2 days at home, but you will also be required to travel to HQ in Europe occasionally.
