We work in partnership with both public and private hospitals, as well as in semi-acute facilities, paediatric homecare, residential services, and practice nursing.
On behalf of our client, we are seekinga dedicated and experienced HDU Enhanced Staff Nurse to join a leading hospital in Dublin.
As an HDU Enhanced Nurse, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients in a high-dependency unit.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to monitor and treat patients requiring close observation and complex care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the HDU, including those recovering from major surgery or with acute medical conditions.
Monitor patients vital signs, administer medication, and assist with medical procedures.
Work closely with the wider healthcare team, including doctors, physiotherapists, and support staff, to deliver patient-centered care.
Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations and changes in patients conditions.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
Requirements: Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMBI registration.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a HDU or ICU setting.
Postgraduate qualification in critical care or HDU nursing is an advantage.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including nights and weekends.
