Valid work permit to work full-time with documentation.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
In-depth knowledge of dietary requirements, HACCP requirements and catering best practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Head Chef Lead the culinary team to create diverse and nutritious menus that cater to the dietary requirements of our patients and staff.
Maintain control over food costs, labour expenses, and other operational expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.
Drawing up staff rosters within the allocated budget.
Training and mentoring of staff, continuing a culture of continuous improvement and upskilling.
Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with HACCP requirements.
Foster positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff, addressing any feedback or concerns promptly and professionally.
