Job Description Job Title: Head Chef Reports to: Executive Head Chef Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest quality and consistency in our dishes, while also mentoring and developing our culinary staff.
The Head Chef will work closely with the Executive Head Chef to innovate and execute our menu offerings, maintaining our establishment's reputation for excellence.
About The Role Key Responsibilities: Kitchen Leadership: Supervise and manage all kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of performance and morale.
Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Head Chef to design and update menus that reflect current culinary trends and seasonal ingredients.
Quality Control: Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes to ensure they meet our standards.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure the timely ordering of ingredients and supplies.
Control food costs and minimize waste.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the kitchen meets all health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards and food safety protocols.
Staff Training & Development: Mentor and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Operational Efficiency: Streamline kitchen operations to maximize efficiency and maintain a high standard of service during peak hours.
Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure customer satisfaction and address any feedback regarding the food.

Desired Criteria Excellent communication and management skills 2 Years' Experience Gained at a Similar Level within a High Quality Catering Operation Required Criteria Previous Experience Gained at a Similar Level within a High Quality Catering Operation NVQ Level 2 or the Equivalent in Food Preparation and Cooking Recognised Current Food Hygiene Certificate Flexibility to Work Various Shifts including Evenings and Weekends when Required Closing Date Saturday 21st September, 2024
