We believe that the real solutions lie in preventing people from becoming homeless in the first place and ensuring they have help to stay in their home once they have found one.The Head of Fundraising Campaigns role is an integral part in delivering the Focus Irelands' Fundraising Strategy helping to deliver significant income and growth and identifying new opportunities.
You will pull together and lead project groups for major campaigns to ensure that all opportunities are enhanced and maximized across various fundraising departments and the wider organization.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a culture of collaboration and develop and manage relationship that enhance Focus Ireland's reputation as a professional partner, able to deliver impact, engagement, and results with both internal and external stakeholders.This area is key to Focus Ireland's growth strategy.
This role is therefore fundamental to the success of Focus Ireland in helping provide services to the increasing number of people who require support at a vulnerable point in their lives.What you will do:Work cross functionally to help develop a strategy to ensure that Focus Ireland's new and existing fundraising campaigns are maximised and enhanced across all fundraising areas and aligns with the wider fundraising and organisational strategies.Form and lead cross functional project teams as appropriate for Focus Ireland's campaigns to deliver on campaign KPI's across teams, ensuring that all opportunities are recognised across departments, and everyone is clear on their team's roles and responsibilities and are working towards the same goals.Map all resources across campaigns ensuring that they are allocated in the most effective way to amplify fundraising activities, agreeing timescales, costs and deliverables.

Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.Work cross functionally to increase commitment and productivity, remove obstacles, and motivate project team members through effective communication of project status, milestones, and unexpected challenges and solutions.Develop work plans for teams and stakeholders and keeping track of progress making timely adjustments as required.Manage internal and external stakeholders, developing long lasting relationships, communicating effectively at all levels.Recruit sub-contractors and specialists and monitor performance to ensure guidelines are properly maintained.Provide oversight and direction coaching and developing staff, providing career development planning and opportunities.Encourage team to take responsibility for their roles and development.Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization.Lead employees using performance management and development process including goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.Professionally manage, sell and deliver Focus Ireland's flagship events and campaigns delivering ambitious fundraising and productivity targets within pre-agreed budget and timeline.Manage the campaigns team to deliver KPI's to deadline and within budget.Lead on the development of new campaigns that align with the strategic direction of Focus Ireland and allow for growth across fundraising teams.Take a donor centric approach and support and engage campaign participants.Deliver briefing documents, project plans, event management plans, sales plans, budgets and presentations to enable leaders and team members to work professionally and cross functionally.Build and maintain media partnerships and key influencer relationships that deliver effective events and campaigns.Work closely with the wider team to deliver a best-in-class donor journey through engagement and stewardship.Develop and fulfil content for ATL and social media channels including Focus Ireland's own channels and that of partner media outlets.Lead in sharing Campaign learnings, experience, and techniques within the team.Recruit third party providers including telesales and in-house sales temp staff.Purchase, manage and maintain data using the existing CRM system, lead on best practice in GDPR.Work closely with the Strategic Digital and Marketing Manager in relation to content, branding and profile.Write campaign briefs, train telesales staff and manage the sales message across teams.
What you will need:Degree in related subject.5 years project management/campaign/event experience.Strong experience in production and event management.Ability to manage up (CEO/MD level) and across, as well as line manage own team.Experience in budget management.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Highly organized with ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multi-task.High degree of initiative, flexibility and creativity.Focus Ireland is an equal opportunities employer
