In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to elevate one of Ireland's most iconic brands, strengthen our leadership position in the motor industry, and drive strategic growth in a dynamic, competitive market.
Your goal in this role will be to extend DoneDeal's position as Ireland's largest Cars & Motor Marketplace from both a demand and supply perspective.Key Responsibilities1.Develop DoneDeal's Marketing StrategyCollaborate with the executive team to define DoneDeal's marketing Vision and StrategyConduct thorough market, competitor and consumer research to identify opportunities for differentiation and growthEstablish 1-5 year marketing objectives and actionable plans to achieve targets for user acquisition, engagement, and monetisationBuild a strong understanding of both private and business customer needs to create tailored messaging and campaigns2.
Build the DoneDeal BrandRefine DoneDeal's tone of voice to strengthen our leadership as Ireland's No.
1 thought leader when it comes to buying your next carGrow brand Top of Mind awareness and ensure consistent and compelling storytelling across all marketing channelsRefine brand architecture and develop clear, user-centric brand guidelinesOversee the creation of compelling and engaging marketing collateral for campaigns3.
Execute with Excellence Lead the marketing team to bring DoneDeal's end-to-end strategy to life through brand campaigns, content marketing, sponsorship, PR and thought leadershipPartner with the product team to ensure brand and user experience consistency Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximise ROI and optimise resource allocation.4.
User Acquisition and RetentionExecute targeted performance marketing campaigns to ensure DoneDeal remains the No.
1 choice for car buyers and sellers nationwideCollaborate with the Growth Marketing Manager and Product team to create and optimise conversion funnels, user onboarding, and retention5.
Dealer Marketing (B2B)Position DoneDeal as the most cost-effective marketing channel for Ireland's Motor Dealer Network, driving leads to premium car dealershipsCraft compelling messaging that articulates DoneDeal's unique value proposition to dealerships and professional sellers6.
Data Analysis and Performance MeasurementUse analytics tools to understand current and potential consumers, monitor and improve marketing performanceProvide regular insights and reporting to the executive team to identify opportunities for optimisation and growthDrive a data-driven culture within the organisation, ensuring decisions are backed by insights7.
People Leadership and Team DevelopmentInspire, lead, and mentor a team of experienced marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environmentSet clear performance goals and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunitiesRecruit and onboard new talent to build a diverse, high-performing team aligned with DoneDeal's growth ambitionsWork closely with cross-functional teams, including product, commercial, sales, and operations, to align marketing efforts with DoneDeal's strategic objectives What skills and experience do I needLeadership & Vision: Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing management, with a track record of building successful marketing strategies in businesses with significant online presenceStrategic Thinker: Strong ability to develop long-term plans, solve problems, and communicate a clear vision for growthBrand Builder: Experience in developing brand values, delivering consistency across all channels, driving Top of Mind awareness Market Maker: Proven ability to segment user bases and build 'both sides' of a vibrant marketplace, speaking to both private buyers (B2C) and Professional sellers (B2B).
Data & Digital Driven: Native understanding of digital channels, SEM, social media marketing, performance & Product marketing.
